She’s the model/TV presenter turned amateur athlete, who went on to achieve a personal best in the 2012 London Marathon with a staggering time of 2 hours 54 minutes.

And Nell McAndrew looked in the best shape of her life at 43 as she holidayed at the Club La Santa in Lanzarote – but still managed to squeeze in a daily workout.

Displaying her lean, muscular thighs and defined six pack, the mother-of-two looked sensational as she admitted to MailOnline: ‘as you get a little older it’s more of a challenge so I’ve sidelined the long runs for the weights’.

And the fitness fanatic admitted that holidays for her ‘include fitness’ and she ‘loves to train at opportunity I can.’

Nell also revealed that she’s even got her 10-year-old son into fitness, doing CrossFit classes with him – and loves that ‘it’s something we can do together.’

Discussing balancing motherhood with her fitness routine, the beauty admitted ‘I do struggle.

‘But fitness for me is my release – it’s what I love to do so I make it work how I can.’

‘I’ve started doing different things like CrossFit that I can fit into my daily routine, because having two young kids I can’t go on the long runs that I used to go on training for the marathon and be gone for half the day!’

Wearing a tiny pair of orange shorts with a funky patterned grey sports bra, the model looked gorgeous as she showed off her impressive workout routine.

When asked about her diet, the TV presenter was adamant that eating sensibly is key – ‘I’ve never been on a diet, I just eat healthily. I think people on diets don’t tend to stick to them.
